The people of Savelugu deserve leadership that can be measured by tangible results rather than rhetorics. Across the municipality, through the hard work of the MCE, Hon. Alhassan Fuseini Bagaman, numerous projects have been undertaken to improve healthcare, education, water supply, agriculture, and public infrastructure in less than 2yrs in government.
Among these are:
1. Construction of the Kpalyogu CHPS Compound.
2. Construction of the kpong CHPS Compound.
3. Renovation of the Municipal Assembly Hall.
4. Renovation of the Municipal Chief Executive’s (MCE’s) Bungalow.
5. Construction of a 3-unit Classroom Block at Saakpam.
6. Construction of a Kindergarten (KG) Block at Yilikpani.
7. Distribution of school furniture
8.Construction of a 6-unit Classroom Block at Savelugu Experimental School.
9.Drilling and Installation of a Mechanized Borehole in Savelugu.
10. Drilling and Installation of a Mechanized Borehole at Zaazi.
11.Drilling and Installation of a Mechanized Borehole in the Kpatuli Electoral Area.
12.Drilling and Installation of a Mechanized Borehole at the Veterinary College.
13.Construction of an Animal Market/Holding Facility.
14.Installation of Solar Street Lighting Systems in Savelugu.
15.Distribution of Fertilizer to Peasant Farmers.
16.Construction of a Girls’ Model School in the Savelugu Municipality.
17. Construction of a Two-Storey Dormitory Block at Savelugu Senior High School.
18.Construction of a 6-unit Classroom Block at Pong-Tamale Senior High School.
19. Construction of a 6 unit Classroom Block at Moglaa
20.Construction of a 6-unit Classroom Block at Pong-Tamale Experimental School.
21. Construction of a 6-unit Classroom Block at Yizegu.
22.Construction of a 3-unit Classroom Block at Libiga Primary School.
23.Construction of a 6-unit Classroom Block at Duko Primary School.
24.Commencement of works on Savelugu New town Inner Roads
25.On going works on Kuduziegu , Kuldanali Road
26.Ongoing works on Savelugu Kumbung Road
Let it be known to all the good people of Savelugu that all these projects are not premises but a tangible project completed and under careful supervision.
As long as the NDC and the MCE lives, Savelugu Municipal would be the most developed municipality.
