The Municipal Chief Executive for Savelugu, Hon. Alhassan Fuseini, alongside Mr. Aliu Gberima, Northern Regional Coordinator for the National Apprenticeship Program, has this morning 5th February 2026 , presented startup kits to beneficiaries of the program.
The ceremony took place at the forecourt of the Savelugu Municipal Assembly.
During the event,
Hon. Alhassan Fuseini urged the beneficiaries to take their training seriously and ensure proper maintenance of the equipment to guarantee its longevity.
He emphasized the importance of maximizing the opportunity in skills acquisition to contribute to the development of the municipality.
The design of the National Apprenticeship Program aims to equip young people with practical skills and empower them to become self employed.
The distribution of startup kits marks a significant milestone in the program, providing beneficiaries with the necessary tools to kick-start their trades.
The MCE expressed confidence that the program would have a positive impact on the lives of the beneficiaries and the community at large.
